The "Deya Nanwana Sapiri Gamak" national program begins in Kolonnawa by bringing the concept of productivity to the village, right at home...!
The project inauguration of the Kolonnawa Divisional Secretariat Division of the 'Deya Nanwana Sapiri Gamak' Community Productivity Model Village Project, which is being implemented islandwide in conjunction with the Clean Sri Lanka national program, was held on 16.03.2026 at the Kolonnawa Himbutana Sri Abhinavarama Viharaya under the patronage of the Deputy Minister of Urban Development, Mr. Eranga Gunasekara, with the blessings of the Chief Incumbent of Himbutana Sri Abhinavarama Viharaya....!
The occasion was attended by many government officials including Kolonnawa Divisional Secretary Priyanath Perera, many public representatives representing the area including Kotikawatta - Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman Dhanushka Priyadarshana, and a large group of residents of the area.....!
The Clean Sri Lanka National Program, the Ministry of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development, the National Productivity Secretariat, the District Secretariat and the Divisional Secretariat jointly launched this ‘Deya Nanwana Sapiri Gamak’ project as a national project across the island. 503/C Malgama Grama Niladhari Division has been selected as the model village in the Kolonnawa Divisional Secretariat area...!The Clean Sri Lanka National Program, the Ministry of Industries and Entrepreneurship Development, the National Productivity Secretariat, the District Secretariat and the Divisional Secretariat jointly launched this ‘Deya Nanwana Sapiri Gamak’ project as a national project across the island. 503/C Malgama Grama Niladhari Division has been selected as the model village in the Kolonnawa Divisional Secretariat area...!The primary objective of the ‘Deya Nanwana Sapiri Gamak’ national program is to bring the concept of productivity to the village and to the home.
