Marikkar, Kolonnawa Divisional Secretary Mr. Priyanath Perera, Assistant Director (Planning) Mrs. P. D. Rupasinghe, Chairman of the Kolonnawa Urban Council Mr. Dhammika Nigamuni, Chairman of the Kotikawatta Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Sabha Mr. Dhanushka Priyadarshana, other government institution officers of the division, OICs of Police and officers of the office.Here, the progress of the development programs for the year 2025 and the progress of the rural development programs were reviewed, and special attention was paid to the rural road development program.Furthermore, the capabilities of the Disaster Committees to deal with the special disaster situation due to the prevailing rains these days and the situation faced by the people under the prevailing adverse weather conditions were discussed in particular.In addition, attention was paid to the spread of dengue, chikungunya, and Covid diseases in the Kolonnawa Divisional Secretariat Division, as well as the health status of the people with data reports, and the progress of the program to establish Public Safety Committees in the Grama Seva Divisions was further discussed.

In line with the national program to eradicate poverty by 2030 for a rich country, a beautiful life, the initial phase of the Praja Shakthi program was held on 15.10.2025 at the Kolonnawa Divisional Secretariat under the patronage of the Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Regional Coordination Committee, Mr. Eranga Gunasekara, at the Kolonnawa Divisional Secretariat, in order to identify Grama Niladhari divisions and prepare a development and economic plan and implement the program.In line with the national program to eradicate poverty by 2030 for a rich country, a beautiful life, the initial phase of the Praja Shakthi program was held on 15.10.2025 at the Kolonnawa Divisional Secretariat under the patronage of the Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Regional Coordination Committee, Mr. Eranga Gunasekara, at the Kolonnawa Divisional Secretariat, in order to identify Grama Niladhari divisions and prepare a development and economic plan and implement the program.
At this event, the Chairpersons of the Community Development Councils were appointed in relation to the 46 Grama Seva Divisions of the Kolonnawa Divisional Secretariat for the formation of Community Development Councils at the Grama Seva level, which was the initial phase of the Praja Shakthi program.
Kolonnawa Divisional Secretary Priyanath Perera, Chairman of the Pradeshiya Sabha, Chairman of the Urban Council and members of the Pradeshiya Sabha and Urban Councils, Assistant Divisional Secretary of the Kolonnawa Divisional Secretariat Mrs. Dineshi Chandraratne, Assistant Director Planning Mrs. P.D. Rupasinghe, Economic Development Officers, Samurdhi Development Officers and active representatives of the divisions participated in this event.

2025.09.30 දින ප.ව. 2.00 ට තරුණ කටයුතු හා ක්‍රීඩා නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය , සම්බන්ධීකරණ කමිටු සභාපති එරංග ගුණසේකර මැතිතුමාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් කොලොන්නාව කොට්ඨාශයේ සම්බන්ධීකරණ කමිටු රැස්වීම කොලොන්නාව ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කාර්යාලීය ශ්‍රවණාගාරයේදී පැවැත්වුණි.2025.09.30 දින ප.ව. 2.00 ට තරුණ කටයුතු හා ක්‍රීඩා නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය , සම්බන්ධීකරණ කමිටු සභාපති එරංග ගුණසේකර මැතිතුමාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් කොලොන්නාව කොට්ඨාශයේ සම්බන්ධීකරණ කමිටු රැස්වීම කොලොන්නාව ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කාර්යාලීය ශ්‍රවණාගාරයේදී පැවැත්වුණි.

මෙම රැස්වීම පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී එස්.එම්. මරික්කාර් මහතා, කොලොන්නාව ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් ප්‍රියනාත් පෙරේරා මහතා, සහකාර ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් දිනේෂි චන්ද්‍රරත්න මහත්මිය, සහකාර අධ්‍යක්ෂ සැලසුම් පී ඩී රූපසිංහ මහත්මිය , කොලොන්නාව නගර සභාපති ධම්මික නිගමුනි මහතා, කොටිකාවත්ත මුල්ලේරියාව ප්‍රාදේශිය සභාවේ සභාපති ධනුශ්ක ප්‍රියදර්ශන මහතා , කොට්ඨාශයේ අනිකුත් රාජ්‍ය ආයතන නිලදාරින් , පොලිස් ස්ථානාධිපතිවරුන් හා කාර්යාලයෙ නිලදාරින්ගෙ සහභාගීත්වයෙන් පවත්වන ලදි.

2025.09.01 කොලොන්නාව ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කාර්යාලයේ සහකාර ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් තනතුරේ සේවයට නව පත්වීම් ලබා ස්ථාන මාරු වී පැමිණි කේ.එම්.ඩී. චන්ද්‍ර රත්න මහත්මිය වැඩ භාර ගැනීම.

මෙම කාර්යාලයේ සේවයට පැමිණීමට ප්‍රථම එම මහත්මිය කුරුණෑගල මහ නගර සභාවේ
නාගරික ලේකම්වරිය ලෙස සේවය කරමින් සිට ඇත.

ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් කාර්යාලයේ බෞද්ධ කටයුතු පිළිබඳ සමායෝජක පුජ්‍ය අගුණකොළපැලැස්සේ විපුලසිරි හිමියන් විසින් ආගමික වතාවත් සිදුකොට එතුමියට සෙත් ප්‍රාර්ථනා කළහ.
